    Our new book
The University of Zilina (Slovakia) has approved and even published our new book, entitled "Modeling of Local Damage in Automobile Internal Combustion Engines".

The book is very well-printed and covers the mathematical modeling of various engine damage types—from overheating due to coolant leakage to hydraulic shock and even disruption of oil supply to bearings. It covers in considerable detail the processes that occur in engines under the described operating conditions, and provides recommendations for their detection and determination of their causes.

Note, in a play on words, that all decent books are now written only in English. Therefore, some may not understand what this book is about and how to deal with it. Although we cannot rule out the possibility that for some, the fact that these are not funny pictures from Telegram or Instagram will be a reason to refuse viewing, and especially studying. Nevertheless, if necessary, then here it is with more detail...

Magic chuck Fifteen years ago, we conducted a special study and found that KWIK-WAY ball-chuck valve grinding machines were practically inoperable — due to the sheer number of interfaces, they couldn't even provide minimally acceptable grinding accuracy, and the cost of maintaining them was incredibly high.
Naturally, a huge number of people didn't believe us — they all assumed it was a sales pitch. So they bought themselves these magical KWIK-WAY machines. But for some reason, everything turned out exactly as we'd written 15 years ago — they offered absolutely no accuracy, and over the course of their operation, we'd already paid several times the price of a new machine for ball-chuck replacements. And what wouldn't you do for a greater cause — annoy the salespeople as much as possible and freeze your own ears out of spite? Read more...

What kind of machines are needed for the new workshop? The cheapest ones, of course — why do we need expensive ones? And where can we get them? Plenty — they're exactly the kind they keep in stock. Especially for those who want the cheapest, right now.

But the question is — how good is all this cheap? After all, everyone knows that cheap doesn't mean good, and neither does fast. So why is all this necessary? Maybe it's specifically for those who buy only the cheapest things — cars, apartments, summer houses, right? Are there many of those? Or are they those who are used to buying only the best, but for some reason decided that machine tools aren't among that good stuff? No? But we thought...

We are taking part in the All-Ukrainian Forum of Specialized <br>Service Stations in Kyiv Together with the International Motor Bureau, we are participating in the All-Ukrainian Forum of Specialized Service Stations in Kyiv on December 15, 2021!

While some can't get enough of playing tanks and others are snot-faced in front of the TV, we are working and showcasing our Provalve machines in Ukraine at a regional forum-meeting of auto repair shop representatives, service station owners and managers, with manufacturers and suppliers of automotive products and service station equipment. The Forum program includes presentations from service station owners and representatives, suppliers, and manufacturers on their experience using technologies, materials, and equipment in the repair of engines and other automotive components and assemblies. Provalve-1600S machine commissioning
    Meanwhile...

The first Provalve machine in the region, the Provalve-1600S, has begun operating in the Kyiv region of Ukraine. This machine is a budget version of the more advanced 1600SL and 4.0 machines, offering all the features of their more advanced counterparts but with a less expensive welded frame. Interestingly, the customer initially considered all types of machines but ultimately chose the Provalve machine, rejecting all others — from Chinese to American.

According to the terms of the deal, we were required to perform commissioning. We did, even though the customer could have easily done everything themselves — all they had to do was open the instructions and follow the steps described. Why? Because, unlike machines from many Chinese, Indian, and, frankly, European manufacturers, the Provalve machine doesn't require any special setup, bolt tightening, or file finishing — it's already fully configured at the Ankara factory; you just need to turn it on. We've proven this once again.

One day, in a foreign country, in a foreign workshop, disaster struck from an unexpected source...

So what happened? Nothing special — the owner decided to replace the old equipment with new. And what's he changing? SERDI, of course — not long ago, the world's most advanced saddle finishing machine, the SERDI 4.0 Power. So what did he decide to trade in all our SERDI for? Whoops! It was a Provalve 4.0! When we saw it, we didn't immediately understand, and when we did, we didn't immediately believe it. But no, they say it's true — they're changing it. See the secret photo for yourself.
Such a "replacement on the Spartak team." Why are the bastards doing this? Yes, it’s clear why, how can a poor SERDI from the 90s compete with a machine from 2020 - think about it yourself...

Why don't Provalve pilots break down? Did you know that one of the main advantages of Provalve machines over absolutely all "Serdi-type" machines with cylindrical pilots is the complete impossibility of breaking the pilot!

Any Serdi machine, whether a Serdi-type machine, its Chinese copies, or Turkish copies of copies, will always have at least a couple of broken pilots. Why? Because such a failure is completely inevitable and will definitely happen sooner or later — all it takes is accidentally pressing the headstock pedal while the pilot is in the guide bushing, and the spindle pre-centering system will instantly break the head of even the heaviest pilot! This will cost the "lucky owner" 80-280 euros, depending on the origin and diameter of the pilot.

Only on Provalve machines is the pre-centering operation, combined with the air cushion pedal activation of the worktable, fully CNC-controlled and adjustable in timing — the machine automatically knows how slowly to engage the pre-centering process to avoid placing unnecessary stress on the pilot if it's located in the guide bushing. And if something goes wrong, the user can easily reprogram the factory preset process time at any time via the touchscreen to make it even smoother. Learn more...
